Three scenes of Moses’ childhood:
On the left side, representation of the fulfillment of Pharaoh’s command to throw all the Israelites’ sons into the river (Book of Exodus).
In the middle, the daughter of the Pharaoh going down to the Nile to bathe with her maidens. Seeing among the reeds a basket, she sends one of her maidens to fetch it (Book of Exodus).
On the right, scene of apocryphal tradition that presents the daughter of the Pharaoh with child Moses in arms who pulls his father’s crown, throwing it.
