Pair of reliefs coming from the greater altarpiece of the Concepción de San Juan de la Palma’s Convent in Seville. In 1638, Felipe de Ribas (sculptor) and Francisco Terrón (painter) hired to perform the altarpiece. After the disappearance of the convent (1840, earthquake) the altarpiece moved to Arcos de la Frontera. After the sale of the convent of Arcos (20th century) the works were transferred to the Franciscan convent of Lebrija. By 1930, some were put up for sale.
